Hi. I’m Matt, founder of Acuity Metrology & Consulting.

While Acuity is new, I possess over 20 years of experience working in different capacities within manufacturing and quality control.

I have dedicated my last 4 years to CMM-Manager and am one of country’s most knowledgeable experts on the software. I worked closely with Nikon developers to make improvements to the software, and supported customers and resellers to help them effectively utilize CMM-Manager for their specific application needs.

As an Application Engineer, I was responsible for reseller and customer support. This included online and offline programming, and advanced parametric and higher-level language (VB Scripting) programs for Manual, DCC and Vision systems.

I am experience working Trade Shows as a presenter, and do well with both prepared and spontaneous demonstrations, including advanced functionality. I have conducted training in 22 states, in 3 countries, and 2 continents.

Prior to working exclusively with CMM-Manager, I worked as a Machinist with wide knowledge of different manufacturing processes. I was promoted to Quality Manager, Engineer, Reverse-Engineer, CAD Designer, Draftsperson, and ISO Management Representative. I developed a Quality Management System from scratch and succeeded on gaining ISO certification with a 50+ employee company.

As the proprietor of Acuity, I can employ elements of my entire body of expertise to collaborate with clients to take on their metrology and process control challenges.
